Ukrainian forces have liberated the village of Blagodatnoye in the Donetsk region in the east of the country. At least three people were killed and 13 wounded when the Russians fired on a boat used to rescue civilians from the left bank of the Dnipro in flooded Kheron. One of the slain civilians, a 74-year-old man, was shot in the back when he tried to protect a woman with his body.
