Verena Altenberger and Stephan Zinner ground this film with their unpretentious playing. Director Tobias Ineichen lets the main and supporting characters shine and has a remarkably good eye for and for the extras.
It would be desirable for broadcasters and audiences that Johanna Wokalek will continue in such a special way. The question of whether all this can be true, the theory of the secret service killing those it is supposed to protect, does not arise. Too weird – and towards the end briefly on the verge of parody – is this plot about dark forces, with a surreal, creepy ending.
