Leone's pastille factory doubles and focuses on chocolate. Entrepreneur Luca Barilla and his wife Michela Petronio, who acquired the historic brand in 2018, are aiming to relaunch it with an investment of around 30 million euros in Collegno, in the industrial area on the outskirts of Turin.

The new factory - called the happiness factory - will be ready in autumn 2025 next to the current headquarters where the tablets will continue to be produced. New hires are expected, at least fifteen, which will bring the number of employees to one hundred.
