Gabriel Attal says level groups in middle school will be “applied at the start of the next school year” in French and mathematics in sixth and fifth grade. “It was and remains a very good idea and it will be applied at the nextSchool year, I reassure you on this subject,” said the Prime Minister on Friday on France 5.

Minister of Education Nicole Belloubet announced Thursday a relaxation in the establishment of these level groups desired by Gabriel Attal when he was in his post.
