Liming, fertilizing and scarifying – how to get your lawn fit again after winter. Liming causes the grass to become lush green again and slows down weed and moss growth.

Scarifying the lawn is not necessary often within a gardening year - about once or twice, depending on its condition. Fertilizing should not be done at the same time, but either six to eight weeks before or after liming. If the soil is very acidic, you can also lime once a year.
