Chocolate is considered a healthy snack because of its relatively low sugar content. Dark chocolate, nuts, dried fruit and sugar-free muesli bars are good alternatives. Frozen fruits or vegetables are always good to snack on. Avocado on whole grain bread, Greek yogurt or dried fruit are among the healthy alternatives. Incidentally, chickpeas are a wonderful snack not only in hummus but also in roasted form.
