About a thousand people participated Sunday in a mobile demonstration south and north of Nantes. Demonstrators denounced the exploitation of sand for industrial purposes.
The demonstration, with a procession also starting from the north (in Héric), was launched at the call of a collective including Les Soulèvements de la terre and La tête dans le sable. The two processions converged in the afternoon in front of the Nantes University Hospital where a third group "Hosto debout" was present.
