On July 3, 1980, 50,000 people converged on Le Bourget to attend the concert given by Bob Marley on a field near the Ile-de-France airport. Never has a single concert brought together so many people in France.

It takes a good two hours to get there from Paris. And, once there, wait again to get through the numerous security barriers. This is the price of the privilege of seeing on stage someone who has become, in just a few years, a global star.
