M. Emmet Walsh, who appeared in more than a hundred films for film and television, died this Tuesday of a heart attack at the age of 88.

Walsh (New York, 1935) had a prolific six-decade career in theater, television and film, and among his best-known titles are blockbusters such as Blade Runner (1982), Critters (1986) and My best friend's wedding (1997) “Walsh's tremendous work includes 119 films and more than 220 television productions,” said his manager.
