Since 4:30 p.m., this Sunday, April 14, the antennas of the Altice group (BFMTV, RMC Découverte and RMC Story) have been disrupted by a technical failure. “A technical incident is currently disrupting the broadcasting of our antennas,” reported BFMTV on its website.

According to our information, the AltICE group building in Paris suffered an air conditioning failure which led to overheating of the final control room and its shutdown. If it should soon be repaired, this failure will affect the measurement of the audiences of the three channels this Monday, April 15 by Médiamétrie. The same goes for the regional branches of BFM, as well as that of RMC radio which, for a time affected by the outage, has now been restored. The incident was still ongoing as of 5:15 p.M., the incident was yet to be fully resolved, according to an internal source at Altice.
