Maltesi murder, the prosecutor on appeal: 'Life sentence for the killer' - Last hour. Deputy general prosecutor of Milan Massimo Gaballo has requested a life sentence with daytime solitary confinement for Davide Fontana.
Fontana was sentenced in the first instance to 30 years for the murder of Carol Maltesi, committed in Rescaldina, in the Milan area, on 11 January 2022. The Court of Justice Assisedi Busto Arsizio, who had issued the first degree sentence, had excluded three of the aggravating circumstances that were alleged against him.
