Maltesi murder, the prosecutor on appeal: 'Life sentence for the killer' The prosecution requests that premeditation be recognized. Davide Fontana was sentenced in the first instance to 30 years for the murder of Carol Maltesi, committed in Rescaldina, in the Milan area, on 11 January 2022.
The Assize Court of Busto Arsizio, which had issued the first degree sentence, had excluded three of the aggravating circumstances that were alleged against it. The prosecution, once again, asks for recognition.
