Marinette Pichon was the first French player to become professional in the U.S. She is the only sportswoman in France to be the subject of a biopic in the cinema.

The 47-year-old has 112 caps for the France team and was the top scorer in history (men and women combined) until Eugenie Le Sommer dethroned her in 2020. She says she is honored to serve as a role model for young girls who are struggling to find their place.
