President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, spoke at the University of Science and Technology in Trondheim. "Achieving security and independence does not, therefore, mean relying exclusively on traditional energy sources," he said.
"We need a new paradigm, we need to have the ambition to be in the leading group that drives change, rather than in the tail group aimed at administering a past in exhaustion," said Mattarella. The change of pace must be about innovation, not just changing supply routes and suppliers, he added.
