The President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella is in the flooded Romagna. He will visit Modigliana, Forlì Apennines and Faenza.

The visit comes after that of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, on May 21. Mattarella announced that he will donate the sum linked to the Paul VI Prize to the John XXIII Community, founded by Don Oreste Benzi in Rimini, and to its shelters affected by the floods. The President of Emilia-Romagna Region, Stefano Bonaccini, thanked Mattarella for his visit.
