Herzliya Mayor Moshe Fadlon is sending an urgent letter this morning to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He is concerned about the mass refusal of Herzliya residents to pay the Arnona tax.
The law is about to be approved this morning (Sunday) in a discussion of the Finance Committee. The current proposal stipulates that each authority will transfer to a designated fund that will be established for this purpose a sum of between 10% and 49% of its annual municipal tax profit.
