Memory track was inaugurated this morning at Rome Tiburtina station to remember the over 1,000 people of the Jewish religion who were deported from Rome to the Birkenau extermination camp on 18 October 1943. A multimedia installation has been placed - created with the contribution of the Istituto Luce-Cinecittà - which collects the testimonies of some of the 16 survivors.

A video also runs on the monitor which retraces the terrible moments of the raid of the ghetto, with period documents and images.
