The European Court of Justice will have to deal with the financial guarantee of around 5 thousand euros that an asylum seeker must pay to avoid being detained in a border center awaiting the outcome of the protection application process. This is what the Supreme Court judge asked, recognizing the legitimacy of the detention of migrants, before the civil United Sections called to examine 10 appeals from the Ministry of the Interior on the orders with which the Catania court did not validate detention of some Tunisian migrants in Pozzallo.
