The inspection commission of the Ministry of Health found "very significant critical elements in the process of taking charge and managing" patients of developmental age with dysphoria or gender incongruence at the careggi hospital in Florence. The Commission, in an audit on January 23 and 24 among clinical staff and management, received documents relating to 85 cases treated in the hospital in recent years.
