More accidents (+6.8%) and deaths (+4.7%) at work in January. Reports of accidents at work presented to INAIL are decreasing by 26.8% compared to 2022.
Complaints from Italian workers and EU workers increased, while those from non-EU workers decreased. Over half of the fatal cases (27 out of 45) occurred in the North with an increase of 5 cases over the same period of 2023. The number of workplace accidents reported increased by 4.2% in Industry and services management and by 9.1% in Agriculture.
