Appreciation at work is a crucial factor in happiness, which employees repeatedly mention in surveys. Younger (56 percent) and older employees (68 percent) in particular feel satisfied, while the age groups in between tend to feel less so. 73 percent of older employees over 56 years of age are more likely to say they are satisfied in their current job. Only 65 percent of the 18 to 25 year old age group are satisfied.
