Monk seal "Julia", which landed on the shores of Jaffa last weekend, still resides in our country. Throughout this time, it has been guarded for 24 hours by inspectors and volunteers from the Nature and Parks Authority and the Delphis Association.

Seal has been known since 2007, mainly in eastern Turkey and on the Lebanese coast. Seals can stay on the beach for several days without food and can shed their winter fur, which takes several days and requires rest and sun.
