They may need to be thrown away. A new rule will apply from autumn 2024. If a driver does not adhere to the new tire regulations, they face a fine of 60 euros. If other road users are obstructed, the fine increases to 80 euros. In 2024, only winter tires with Alpine markings will be permitted.
