New survey of the most popular supermarkets: Kaufland crashes, winner jumps from 11 to 1. Over 1,000 customers voted: A supermarket is the clear favorite of Germans.
Six supermarkets achieved a “good” quality rating in the rankings. However, none of the supermarkets can really score points when it comes to prices. Almost 58 percent of consumers in the survey stated that were willing to pay more for high-quality food. They also see the large selection of regional products as a clear plus to the German Institute for Service Quality.
