New survey shows most popular supermarkets in Germany: Kaufland crashes, winner jumps from 11 to 1. Over 1,000 customers voted: A supermarket is the clear favorite of Germans.
Six supermarkets achieved a “good” quality rating in the rankings. However, none of the supermarkets can really score points when it comes to prices. Almost 58 percent of consumers in the survey stated that they were willing to pay more for quality food. The year is expected to bring with it some changes, including deposits and price tags.
