Knesset's Interior Committee will discuss in the coming days an amendment to the Law on the Governmental Authority for Urban Renewal. The bill will allow the promotion of urban renewal processes in complexes where several entrepreneurs operate, in a way that does not allow any of them to obtain the necessary majority and bring the project to fruition.
A year and a half has passed since the first deal was signed in the complex, at least. If the CEO of the government authority finds that these conditions have been met, he will notify the parties of his intention to expropriate all transactions.
