The German government has reached an agreement on the ban on new gas and oil heating systems. The controversial proposal by Economics Minister Robert Habeck (Greens) to ban oil and gas heating has been defused.

There will be no ban on heating or an obligation to replace an existing heating system. Every newly installed heating system should be powered by at least 01 percent renewable energies from January 2024, 65. percent for wood-burning stoves. It is planned to pass the new bill in the Bundestag before the summer recess.
