Non-melanoma skin cancer: typically on the face, neck or ears. Every year around 260,000 people in Germany are diagnosed with white or light skin cancer.

The disease can develop particularly on the forehead, as well as on the neck, ears, hands, chest or torso. The main cause of skin cancer is long-term, intensive UV radiation. Despite a favorable prognosis, anyone who has been diagnosed with non-mela skin cancer has a greater risk of developing it again.
