Omar Sy co-signed the biographical work edited by Albin Michel with journalist Elsa Vigoureux. The 288-page book, written after three years of interviews in the form of a confession without boasting, is due to be released in bookstores on April 24.

In this work, designed as a series of exchanges, lively like the temperament of the famous French actor, he looks back on his journey as an acrobat. “I was caressed, everyone said yes to everything, I could have gone under. Sometimes I didn't want to hear all that anymore, it was too much. It smelled like a trap. Getting some fresh air was the solution,” he says. The book is available to pre-order on Amazon, with a limited edition of 1,000 copies. The actor won the César for best actor in 2012 for his role in the film Intouchables. He also won the Prix de la Critique de l'Académie for his performance in Les Miserables.
