British director tells the story of the atomic bomb and the face of its creator for his new film. The film is also based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J.
Robert Oppenheimer by Kai Bird and J. J. Sherwin. Matt Damon will play General Leslie Groves and Robert Downey Jr will play one of the founding members of the United States Atomic Energy Commission. The movie is scheduled for release on July 19, 2023.
