Hundreds of workers and employees have been working non-stop since Monday. Red carpet is 300 meters of carpet, 10 meters wide.
In a few hours the whole area will be off limits even for pedestrians. Only those who are accredited will be able to access the area, through controls and metal detectors placed to the west, at the Chinese Theatre. To the east, there will be the procession of limousines that leave the stars at the entrance to the red carpet. "Every edition, for 17 years, I'm taking a week off to stay here and watch when they set up. I can't stay away", says Vivianne Robinson.
