A humanitarian disaster filmed with cold rage. Green Border has little to do with Me, Captain, the clandestine journey of two young Senegalese who left Dakar to reach Europe. Both films won awards at the Venice Film Festival - special jury prize for the first, silver lion for best director for the second - but they take different views on the “migrant drama’.
