Korean singer Park Bo-ram died Thursday April 11 in Seoul, her agency Xanadu Entertainment announced. The 30-year-old was with two other women, at the home of one of them, when she was found unconscious and in cardiac arrest.

Police are still investigating the exact cause of death for the singer, who had no known health problems. She had just released a single titled "I Miss You" on April 3, and she was preparing to release a full album, according to XanadU Entertainment. She received the Artist of the Year award at the fourth edition of the Gaon Chart K-pop Awards and was nominated to win an Mnet Asian Music Award, a Melon Music Award and a Golden Disk Award. In March 2014, she attracted attention following her spectacular weight loss of 32 kg since her appearance in “Superstar K2’s’ first season in 2010. The demands placed on artists by this industry have caused health problems in some of its unfortunate predecessors.
