Orange alert for avalanche risk in Piedmont in the mountain areas of Toce, Valsesia, Valle Cervo and Valchiusella. Operations room of the Region's Civil Protection will be open from 4pm today to monitor the situation and arrange interventions if necessary.
Yellow alert for avalanches in the other Alpine sectors. From tomorrow the alert will be yellow due to hydrogeological risk in the Alpine arc and on the plains, as today an intensification of precipitation is expected.
