The primrose is considered a sensitive plant when cultivated as a houseplant. It doesn't like it too warm, it shrinks from wet feet and will quickly wither if not cared for properly. If the flower is no longer pretty a few weeks after purchase, you don't have to throw the plant away. If you see a nice copy in the supermarket now, you should grab it.
