Planting blueberries: This is how you harvest a lot of fruit. Blueberries feel particularly comfortable in sandy, boggy and acidic soil.

A pH value of 3.5 to 4 is optimal for the plants to grow and thrive. If you break off the flowers in the first year, you won't harvest any berries - but the bushes will grow better. Water with rainwater or low-lime tap water. Blueberry bushes prefer a sunny location. The plants must not be planted too deep in the soil.
