Popocatepetl volcano threatens Mexico City again. Residents advised to wear masks, stay at home and avoid direct contact with volcanic ash.

National Center for Disaster Prevention has informed that the danger is still in an intermediate phase, in which the evacuation of the municipalities closest to the volcano is not foreseen. According to satellite images, a column of ash is approaching the country's capital. The intense activity of the PopocatePetl volcano, in central Mexico, worries the government, and local authorities have issued an alert.
