More than 30,000 users of Edesur and 9,000 of Edenor were without electricity in their homes this afternoon. The problems with the energy supply grew from midday, when the thermometer exceeded 37 degrees.

By 12:50 p.m., energy demand reached 28,124 MW, according to the Wholesale Electricity Market Administration Company (Cammesa), and is close to reaching the record of 29,105 registered on March 13 of last year. In the City of Buenos Aires, the affected neighborhoods were Belgrano and Colegiales.
