Prince Hussein and his wife, Princess Rajwa of Jordan, are now preparing to welcome their first child. The court in fact revealed in a press release, published on Wednesday April 10, that the young woman was pregnant.

She would also benefit from the advice of her mother-in-law, Queen Rania of Jordan. The child will be, for his part, the first grandson or first granddaughter of the Hashemite sovereigns. The couple said “yes” at Zahran Palace in Amman on June 1, 2023, in the presence of Prince William and Kate Middleton. They are due to give birth in the summer of 2023. The baby will be the first grandchild of the Jordanian royal family, and the first great-grandchild of King Abdullah II of Jordan and his late wife, Rania Al Abdallah. It will be a boy or a girl, depending on the sex of the baby, and will be born in the spring or summer.
