In Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, between 75,000 and 80 people took to the streets today, according to police. President Maia Sandu addressed the crowd, as did the head of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, who came to Moldova specifically for this occasion.
Participants at the meeting adopted a resolution in support of Moldovans' European integration and called on all political forces to support the country's European path. To this end, it is necessary to specify in the Moldovan Constitution the objective of joining the EU, the protesters said.
