Two explosions were heard by the residents of Vomero shortly before a veritable river of mud invaded the area of Via Solimena, already affected by the effects of a sinkhole last February 21st. Rescue teams were on site: fortunately no one was injured but there was still damage and inconvenience.
There were also problems in nearby Via Morghendo where four people were injured due to the sinkhole in February. According to what was learned, the loud noise was caused by the explosion of some shutters of shops invaded by water.
