Rare D-Mark: Selling can be worthwhile - these coins are valuable. Made of silver, copper or because of their special embossing: some D-Marks are really valuable.

The “Deutsche Mark’ was introduced as a currency in the German Federal Republic in 1948 and was used as a means of payment until 1998. The coins could be used as cash until 2001, when they could only be redeemed for the euro. Some 5 and 10 mark coins contain 10 grams of silver. The current value of these coins is also higher than the original one.
