The Israeli government is increasing the pace of bringing in foreign workers to the construction industry, mainly from India. The move to bring in the workers and the training is complex, the result of cooperation between the Israeli government, manpower corporations and the National Histadrut.
A celebratory event was held in Modiin, marking the acceptance of migrant workers in Israel, under the title "Building Israel" The Minister of Labor, Yoav Ben Zur thanked the host, the chairman of the National Historicaladrut and said: "Since 10/7, Israel has been in one of the most difficult times in its history"
