Reste and Waterloo, two unpublished releases by Johnny Hallyday dating from 1971 resurface. Recorded during the sessions for the Flagrant Délice album, this romantic ballad and this song about Napoleon allow us to find Hally day at the top.

Rest is a curiosity: a beautiful ballad featuring an acoustic guitar arpeggio and a piano part in the verses and an electric guitar with country accents then an organ in the choruses. Waterloo is more of an epic fresco. This song, which was unpublished for more than fifty years, would perhaps have benefited from remaining so.
