Six people were injured in a pyrotechnic stunt on the Moroccan set of Gladiator 2. The burns suffered do not engage the vital process of the victims and first aid was provided on the spot, says the Paramount studio.
The accident occurred on Wednesday, June 7. No actors from the main cast were present. As of Friday evening, four of the injured were still hospitalized. After Morocco, Gladiator 2 should return to Malta, which had already lent its landscapes and outdoor scenery to the first part.
