Olympic ski champion Sofia Goggia spent a peaceful night after the reduction surgery on the multi-fragmentary displaced joint fracture of the right tibial pilon. The athlete from Bergamo will begin the passive phase of physiotherapy today and she will be discharged in the next few days.
Sofia suffered the fracture during a giant slalom training session in Pontedilegno. The Italian ski champion will be back on the slopes in the coming days.
