For 20 days, scientists from Conicet and Patagonian universities will navigate the San Jorge Gulf in search of this critically endangered species. They will be accompanied by documentary filmmakers from NAT GEO.

The Sei whale (Balaenoptera borealis) is the third largest animal, after the blue whale and the fin whale. A few years ago it was discovered that more than 2,700 animals enter the Gulf of San Jorge to feed. They are animals that face the immense networks of the fishing industry, dominant in the area.
