The Sparks, American goldsmiths of pop, will release their 26th disc on Friday. Actress Cate Blanchett was previously featured in the music video The Girl Is Crying In Her Latte.
A song from this new record, Veronica Lake, bears the name of a Hollywood star with a meteoric career in the 1940s. The Sparks are preparing a new musical film, of which they let filter only the working title X Crucior. They will be playing in Paris on June 13 at the Grand Rex.
