Stéphane Bern elected municipal councilor in his village of Perche. “Monsieur Patrimoine” obtained 97.3% of the votes cast in the commune of Thiron-Gardais (Eure-et-Loir) of a thousand inhabitants.
He has owned, since 2013, the former royal and military college which he had restored and transformed into museum. He now lives there full time after leaving Paris in 2021 where he was a Municipal Councilor from 1999 to 2001.
