Statue sprayed with paint in Rome to protest against animals in circuses. This action “opens the Kimba campaign”, named after a lion which escaped in November for several hours from a circus in Ladispoli, a coastal town near Rome.
The traces of yellow and red paint delighted tourists and other curious people visiting this central square of Rome. In October 2022, two young women posing as ecological activists threw tomato soup on Van Gogh's painting “Sunflowers” at the National Gallery in London.
